When Menglan was a baby, he was an active and lively little cub.
At just three months old, he started exploring the world with his tiny legs. Inspired by his playful nature, we decided to create a dynamic three-month-old Menglan plush toy to showcase his energetic personality.
First, we adjusted the structure of the head, changing it from a single piece to a segmented design. Additionally, we altered the ratio of the stuffing, transitioning the plush toy from a low, flat posture to one where it lifts its head up.
We completely revamped our previous pattern-making method. Without using any internal framework, we relied on stitching techniques to capture the dynamic moments of a baby panda. Throughout this process, we continuously adjusted the curvature of the joints and the positioning of the bends to ensure the movements closely mimic the body language of a baby panda.
Our Menglan panda plush toy, in its prone position, can not only strike various adorable poses but also give you the sense of it seeking a hug and climbing upwards when you hold it. This makes you feel like you are playing with a real baby panda, Menglan, enhancing the emotional connection between you and the toy.
